According to automotive media outlet TeslaRati, Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen recently hinted during a special event in Austria that the long-awaited next-generation Roadster could be unveiled within “a few weeks.”.

Industry rumors currently suggest that Tesla may push the Roadster’s official debut to August. The company had previously indicated that the vehicle would be revealed in April or May this year, but recent developments point toward a late-summer launch event instead.
Franz von Holzhausen, who joined Tesla in 2008, has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s signature design language and has overseen the design of several of Tesla’s most iconic vehicles.
Tesla has repeatedly claimed that the next-generation Tesla Roadster will “redefine the sports car.” The company previously announced a 0–60 mph acceleration time of less than 1.9 seconds, while an optional SpaceX Thruster Package could potentially reduce that figure to an astonishing 1.1 seconds.

From May 29–31, Lynk & Co competed across three premier motorsport championships—the TCR China Series, CTCC China Cup, and Lynk & Co Cup—fielding the 03+ TCR, 03++, and 03 CUP EVO race cars.
The Roadster was originally scheduled to enter production in 2020, but the project has faced multiple delays over the years. Despite the prolonged wait, many loyal customers have already placed deposits of up to $50,000, while Tesla enthusiasts around the world continue to await what could become one of the most ambitious electric performance cars ever developed.
If Franz’s latest comments prove accurate, the automotive industry may finally get its first official look at Tesla’s highly anticipated halo supercar before the end of the summer
